Sales Policy

Price

The price of our rabbits varies and will depend on age, color and confirmation.  

Our price range is generally from $30-$300.  

Rabbits of higher show potential and quality will inevitably be higher priced, and visa versa.   

All of our rabbits come with pedigrees, and for that reason are more valuable.

Health

The health of our rabbits is very important to us, and therefore we will not sell a rabbit with a determined health issue. We perform health checks before selling a rabbit, and inform the customer if there are any future health concerns detected. We do our best to keep our rabbits healthy and happy.  However, since we cannot determine the rabbit's future, we are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any future health issues or vet bills once the rabbit has been sold.

Rabbit Kit

Our kits come with: 

1. Transition pelleted rabbit feed for their digestive health.

2. The rabbit's full, three generation Pedigree.

3. "Bunny language" sheet.

4. Care Sheet explaining basic the basics.

We will be more than happy to offer advise and answer questions to the best of our ability after the rabbit has been sold. 

Reservation

A $20 deposit is needed to hold your rabbit.  If a customer wishes to be refunded their deposit, due to a mistake or failure on our part, we will gladly do so for them.  However, if they choose to back out of a sale, the down payment will remain non-refundable.  All reservation fees are to be done primarily through Venmo.

Pedigrees

All of our Dwarfs are fully pedigreed & will carry the name "Leafy Nook" as part of their name.  The pedigree will be considered void if dropped or changed into your name. You can name your rabbit anything you prefer but it must have "Leafy Nook" in front of its name on the pedigree. If the pedigree comes with a name already on it, that name must stay on the pedigree, but you may call the rabbit whatever you decide.

Pick-Up

Rabbit pickup is done where the rabbit resides.

Bunnies are not available for pick up until they are at least 8 weeks of age. This is for the sake of the bunny's health and well-being.

For payment, we expect cash only at the time of pick-up.

Refund and Return

In the case that a customer has found their adopted bunny unsatisfactory or has (for health reasons both on the rabbit and caretaker's part) decided that they cannot keep their pet, we will accept the rabbit back along with it's cage and a sample of it's food for transition.  This will help to lower the rabbit's stress level, etc.

We will gladly refund the amount paid at pickup if a rabbit has died within 2 weeks of it's new homecoming.

General

All of our babies are raised and handled daily. However, we do not make any guarantees on show, breeding, health, future disqualifications, or temperaments. We do our best to determine the gender of our babies, but sometimes it can be difficult to tell, and we ask that the customer do their own gender check before taking their new bunny home.
